Council House Recordings presents the first in a series of Samplers from the Council House family and affiliates. Being long time enthusiasts of the legendary Roland TB 303 this sampler pays homage to the acid house sound and the people whom made it all happen. With a tasty range of Acid tunes this project boasts underground talent from Japan, Chicago, London, Brighton, Liverpool, Belfast and beyond. Also including a special feature track “Acid is safe and Wonderful” from Acid House legend Affie Yusuf whom has been an integral part of the London Acid scene from the early 90′s. His trademark releases such as “909 eats children” and “White Walls” have reached cult status amongst old school Acid heads around the globe.

Once again Moody B returns from the studio with a damn fine 4 track ep chocked full of old-school Chicago goodness he’s best known for. This ep boasts the rawness and energy of Moody B’s hardware production skills and analog programing ability. In both versions of acid games he puts the TB303 through its paces, the (Fierce mix) being a much more harder and grittier take.  Dig it and Trawler stem from the more classic house sound of the late 80′s with those old style strings, pads and 707 drums.
